Shop Talk: End of the WGA Strike
Everyone’s phones blew up this past Sunday night as the WGA sent out notifications that a deal had been reached. As of this is posting, the WGA Strike has officially ended after 148 days! Late night and daytime talk shows will likely return next week before the full WGA membership ratifies the deal. The economic toll of the dual strikes has been estimated to be around $3B — so our fingers are double crossed that this momentum extends to SAG-AFTRA and then ALL of Hollywood can get back to work.
