Shop Talk: The Masters Golf Social Posts

Over the weekend, some of our team discovered the beauty of the Augusta Affogato and viewing chair etiquette. Sadly (or proudly) we don’t have a team of golfers or golf experts, but TikTok sucked some of us into the pageantry of The Masters PGA tournament. Sure, watching golf may seem boring but watching it while simultaneously swiping through intoxicating TikTok videos of peach ice cream sliding into coffee cups and you’ve got a hole-in-one! Did I really need to know that sandwiches are still $1.50? Or see the “amen corner” of the course? No, but am I happy to now know about these #golf facts? YES! Kudos to the social team at #Augusta for a great example of using new media to invite outsiders to engage in an old classic event.
