Facebook (now technically Meta) has announced it will introduce an array of devices including updates to its current Oculus Quest 2 VR headset, and upcoming augmented reality glasses that will allow users to access a social virtual reality with Horizon Home. In partnerships, Facebook will leverage the popularity of Ray Ban with Ray Ban Stories, new smart glasses from the tech company in 20 different signature Ray Ban styles. Meanwhile, Google is fully backing Samsung’s new generation of zFold & zFlip phones, fitting the half tablet/half phone device with Google products such as Youtube Shorts and AR Google Maps. Finally, in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic there has been an influx in personalized medical tech. Oura Ring announced its new generation will improve its ability to track sleep data with new green and red LED sensors and include new continual temperature tracking and heart rate monitoring data.
