As pandemic restrictions continue to lift, retailers are looking to innovative strategies to increase foot traffic and drive sales. #BrookfieldProperties has teamed up with #AriaNetworks to introduce “#phygital” advertising experiences throughout their shopping centers nationwide. Hoping to bring a “cool-factor” back to the brand, Gap struck a deal with #KanyeWest and dropped their first collab last month. The sky-blue puffer jacket was available for purchase via floating projections of the item in LA, NYC, and Chicago. And Bed Bath & Beyond is hoping to attract a new set of customers, particularly a younger demographic, by partnering with the DTC mattress brand, Casper. Their first shop-in-shop will debut in Bed Bath & Beyond’s flagship store in NYC. In order to compete with the rise of e-commerce shopping, retailers continue to adapt and modernize their approach in the market.
