Collaborations continue to reign supreme when it comes to fashion, and especially in the footwear space. Crocs have seen a resurgence in popularity, no longer just footwear for gardening. Crocs collaborated with Carrots by Anwar, creating 2 new clog designs as well as 2 sweatsuits inspired by the collab. Crocs also created a limited Valentine’s line, creating demand by allowing consumers to enter a drawing to purchase a pair of Crocs inspired by Sweetheart Valentine’s hearts. They even created plush heart jibbitz!
In the health and beauty space, brands are leaning into talent to help elevate their brands and bring awareness. Actress and Tik Tok star Addison Rae was recently named Vital Protein’s newest global brand ambassador; she’ll be focusing on the brand’s Wellness Gummy Line. Saweetie and Cher starred in MAC’s recent campaign called “Challenge Accepted.” The program focused on challenging its users to “put their makeup to the test and shine a light on their performance”. Lastly, e.l.f. created a holiday TikTok movie to recap the biggest trends of the past year. Tapping into TikTok influencers and actress Sarah Hyland to highlight holiday traditions and the past year in makeup and TikTok trends!
