More brands are switching up how their marketing efforts come to life to keep up with changes in consumer behaviors and developments in technology.  With the pandemic’s hit on theatre attendance, the Broadway League utilized AR to capture the attention and imagination of potential theatre-goers. American Express used DOOH gifs, QR codes, and geo-targeting to guide shoppers to small businesses that need help to stay afloat. Rémy Martin partnered with Usher and used AI to create a visual representation of Usher’s words which was then turned into artwork for limited-edition bottles and NFTs.
